This year’s Sackler Colloquium ran under the title Sackler Colloquium on Extension of Biology Through Culture (use this link for an online edition). The papers, which are now available in a PNAS special issue, span a wide range of topics in cultural evolution. From social learning in children to song evolution in whales, and from concepts of culture and niche construction to evolutionary neurobiology. The articles provide a contemporary snapshot of the state of the field and are published as open access.
